Color Guard

The Forest Park High School Color Guard is an integral part of the Forest Park Bruins Marching Band. The color guard performs at home football games, competitions, and travels to parades and competitions. They use flags, rifles, sabers, and dance to enhance the marching band's music. 

The Winter Guard is an additional performance opportunity for students interested in color guard. The ensemble holds auditions shortly after the conclusion of the marching band season, and follows their own rehearsal and performance schedule from November-April. The group competes in the Atlantic Indoor Association and Winter Guard International competitive circuits and performs at schools and arenas across Virginia.

The Color Guard and Winter Guard are under the direction of Ms. Connor Lynn Gaffney.

Prior experience in color guard is not necessary, and everyone is welcome to try out.
